I wanted to pass something along. Many well meaning patriots and truthers are claiming going to the website californiaarrests.org is showing Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been arrested. (I fell for it myself at first last week). This is not true. All this site is is a Public Records search site. Every state has one (just swap out the california for your own state). What comes up is a list of people who have the same or similar name. If you want access to something like an arrest record, you have to pay. Some people have been trying to convince me this is not true – but it is. I went to the one for my state and typed in my husband’s name. It came up. He has never been arrested and as far as I know, he is sitting here in the living room with me.

Rumors also swirling around Hanks being in that Range Rover – some saying the license plate is affiliated w/the Navy. It is – the Navy CREDIT Union. It’s easy to jump to conclusions especially with all of this activity and excitement in the air. Use discernment. Excitement is awesome – but use logic to find out if there’s any truth to the find.
If you read the replies to that original thread, you'll see the license plate was not "Navy", it was for a rental car company that leases through Navy Credit Union, which isn't part of the Navy, but a private entity.
It's important not to jump to conclusions or spread disinfo.
