The day was warm and sunny. Many flowers continue to bloom – all but the Cherry Trees. We usually see them blooming in February – especially when we have some sun and warmth – which we did. But they still sit – branches bare, sleeping.
Sleep is still a challenge. No matter what intentions I set, I wake up worried about money, my mind racing, searching for ideas to try new (got 3 on the list – we’ll see). My daughter needs a microscope. She’s outgrowing her small twin bed. I need a haircut. My dresser – well – there isn’t enough duct tape in the world to hold that thing together and we’ve already had waterproof tape on the car to slow down the leaks. I believe we fixed it today with some sealant. And yes – I’ve been looking for free furniture or used/affordable. If $250 for a dresser is affordable, I’m in the wrong reality. Unbelievable. Don’t people realize when you sell USED you don’t go by the market value – especially when the market values are hyper-overpriced. I’ve had our mountain bikes for sale for a year – far below what others are asking too. No takers. Most are probably just trying to eat – extra money going towards TP and Kleenex. Not joking either – in my personal experience. I’ve never faced this kind of a $$ pinch – nor have I not had this struggle to find additional work and bring in additional income. But I keep at it.

So when will Trump and Elon be going to FORT KNOX as promised to show us the goods? I am pretty sure this is one of those “they are sending teasing messages to the other side” – and for us it’s to say, “at some point this will happen”……….So the question remains: W H E N? 🙄

President Trump says representatives of his administration will tour Fort Knox to make sure the nation’s gold reserve is there. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has speculated that the gold may have been compromised. Former Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin is one of very few people who has been inside Fort Knox and says visiting the facility is a “very secure process.” Bevin does agree with auditing the gold there, but disagrees with the idea of a livestream as Musk has suggested.
