5/22 Finds….

i received an email today from the local co-op in which I shop (we are owners and have 2 shares)….they would be requesting all customers wear masks to shop there.  my county is in phase 1 – policies are to be relaxing.  so i replied and said i would not be complying as i have health issues that preclude me – which is true.  i tried wearing a mask in the early days while i researched – i couldn’t do it.  couldn’t breathe well and panic set in.  it was one of those “get this damn thing off my #$*&! blipping bleeping face!)”

i’ve come to have the same experience w/the gloves now too.  I AM FREE!

anyway they responded and said i was free to shop there and they respected my decision for they knew others had the same issue(s).  so a teachable moment for our child – be respectful and assertive.  that often works.  (although my girl, in her amazing wisdom, was the one to tell me to write back and state my position.  be kind and be yourself, she said – you’re always telling me to do that.  my child – so often is a teacher to her mama.)

but know your rights in case that doesn’t work and you have to amp it up on your end – which i am willing to do if necessary.  however…this has me reflecting…..there is public property and then there is private property and stores and other privately owned businesses are private property.  the right to refuse service, imo, always takes precedence – even if it is an otherwise poor business decision.  my question today is:  do i actually have the right to refuse to comply with the decision of a business AND still be allowed (under the rule of law) to patron that business?  i’m not sure.  there was a business in Portland, Oregon – a cake baking biz.  the owner was very religious and did not want to bake cakes to gays and lesbians.  a ridiculous, ignorant business decision, but i still felt they had the right to make that choice.  the state fined the owners over 100K and the Oregon Court of Appeals upheld the decision.  However, the Supreme Court sided with the Owners of the bakery which set a precedent.  so according to the highest court in the land, do these businesses have the right to refuse service for customers who refuse or fail to comply with a mask-wearing requirement policy?  i don’t know.

however that gets addressed, i’m so done seeing just eyes.  it leaves out 3/4 of the entire human connection experience.  may as well shop with robots.

oh wait, i am…..

sarcasm….it pains me to see so many so easily fooled…

as far as my own personal reason…..more reflecting on the panic and feeling trapped later….let’s just say i am seeing how this entire “pandemic/hide/lockdown” narrative is merely a reflection of how our experience here has really been:  A PRISON.  i understand at a deeper level the claustrophobic like experience i have had here my whole life in ANY situation where i feel trapped – physically, emotionally, mentally, you name it.  it is a big issue with me but today i understand and innerstand why i have it so i have a huge amount of respect and compassion for myself now and assert myself if ever i am around someone who doesn’t “get it” and applies pressure on me to be something else.

here are some finds for today….

love,  v.

going to watch this one tonight…what a question….my feel – this was part of the plan….get the question out there to allow Press Sec. McEnany to ask the journalists why they aren’t doing their job then lays out the question before ending the briefing…..this is brilliant although this msm site tries to dismiss the illegal wiretapping as a debunked conspiracy….lol

This is from February – but feels significant…
