Chipotle founder Steve Ells exits board

Chipotle Mexican Grill said on Friday founder Steve Ells has stepped down from the board, handing over the role of executive chairman to chief executive officer Brian Niccol.
Since founding Chipotle in 1993, Ells has held or shared the CEO role until two years ago. He stepped down from the top role after succumbing to investor pressure on failing to turn around the burrito chain from a string of food safety lapses.
The company’s stock, which took a big hit when two major illness outbreaks were reported, has recovered to touch a new high under CEO Niccol.

WASHINGTON — Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas is stepping down from two leadership positions following a lawsuit from a former employee who says her sexual assault complaint was mishandled.
Jackson Lee will no longer serve as leader of one of the House Judiciary Committee’s key subcommittees or as head of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Congressional Black Caucus.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said it was Jackson Lee’s decision to step aside as chairwoman of the House Judiciary Crime Subcommittee.

Bus Carrying Covington Catholic Students Leaving March for Life Involved in Deadly Crash
i am SO GRATEFUL none of the children were seriously injured. they have been victimized enough w/the agenda of the others for far too long…accident? too many coincidences w/this one for that. likely an intentional attack created by the others. and how convenient the driver of the other vehicle died. they take out their own kind like they toss a tissue in the garbage. i read earlier today where one of Trump’s lawyers in this impeachment movie is a graduate of Covington High School so no surprise this happened.

A bus carrying Covington Catholic students who attended the March for Life in DC was involved in a deadly crash on Saturday morning.
One of the mothers of a student who was involved in the viral incident between students and a Native American activist last year told the Gateway Pundit that the bus carrying the students was hit head on. She said that a teacher was injured, a student had a bloody nose and the driver of the other vehicle died.
None of the students were seriously injured, but the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not yet been publicly released.
The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. in California, Kentucky.

The woman who is accused of finding young girls for deceased billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is now under FBI investigation.
The British socialite dated Epstein in the 1990s, but maintained a close relationship after their split.
CNBC reported on Friday that Maxwell is a principal focus of their investigation into those who faciliated Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme.
“The FBI also is following up on many leads received from women who contacted a hotline the agency set up at its New York field office in the wake of Epstein’s arrest in July, the sources said,” CNBC reports.

- Both boys received the two recommended doses of the varicella, or chickenpox, vaccine as children
- In rare cases in immunocompromised patients, the live virus used in the shot can reactivate and can causes infections including shingles and meningitis
- One of the boys was immuncompromised with a history of leukemia while the other was otherwise healthy
- They were treated with acyclovir, an antiviral drug that treats chickenpox, shingles and cold scores
Doctors believe they have discovered the first known case of the chickenpox vaccine reactivating in two 14-year-old boys and causing meningitis.
According to the paper, published in the journal Pediatrics, both teens had received the recommended two doses of the varicella vaccine as children.
The vaccine, which was developed in the 1970s and first distributed in the US in 1995, has been proven to be safe and effective.
