High Energy Protons – Solar Isotope Spectrometer (SIS)…and current magnetopause

uhhh is this normal???  caught my eye…  seems to me we had a solar event….and the wave pattern on the magnetopause looks really unusual…almost as though there’s a structure there of some sort as well…

The Solar Isotope Spectrometer (SIS) is designed to provide high resolution measurements of the isotopic composition of energetic nuclei from He to Ni (Z=2 to 28) over the energy range from ~10 to ~100 MeV/nucleon.
